JC Golf is dedicated to providing the region’s finest variety of Golf facilities and superior guest service to those who appreciate the tradition of the game of Golf.
JC Golf is currently seeking a hands-on, experienced Golf Marketing/Communications Manager to join our team. Candidate will be responsible for driving the marketing efforts of our 7 golf courses.
The right person will be responsible for preparing reports and analysis for JC Golf and implementing and maintaining standard operating procedures for marketing, special projects and database information. Will also oversee communications programs to effectively describe and promote our organization and its products.
Job location is at Twin Oaks Golf course in San Marcos. |
Duties: |
-To manage the databases for the golf course properties, including, but not limited to POS Guest History, JC Memberships, JC Junior Memberships, Tournament database (Goldmine)etc.
-To manage the data entry process and develop standard operating procedures for data entry compliance.
-To make recommendations to the Vice President of Golf on the annual JC Card sales goals.
-To analyze and report the ROI of all golf marketing programs and to make recommendations for future programs.
-To manage the JC Card Coordinators on their sales goals, sales training and assess their team efforts.
-To assist in the management of the administration of marketing programs related to direct mail, fulfillment programs, e-mail marketing, and JC Golf internet presence.
-To coordinate the creating, maintenance, and utilization of e-mail marketing database.
-To attend special marketing events and assist in special projects as needed.
-To prepare analytical marketing reports for golf properties.
-To manage survey, guest comment and tournament comment cards.
-To attend all strategy meetings and complete on annual basis the tournament and JC Card incentive structures.
-To ensure marketing campaigns are being followed; provide reports, analysis and assist in special projects.
-To monitor, analyze all month end reports.
-To track and establish revenue earned through media ads.
To manage real-time budgets and reconcile with annual media plans.
-To coordinate media schedules and assist with strategizing and developing annual media budgets and final plans.

Qualifications: |
Must have prior golf marketing experience. Prefer bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Must have 3-5 years or more of media database marketing and direct mail.
Strong team player, detail oriented, visionary. Advanced computer skills: Excel and Access etc.
