SUMMARY
Organizes and manages winter concession operations to ensure quality fast food and beverages in a friendly, efficient and professional environment.
Duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Warmly greets and engages each guest.
Oversees the hiring, scheduling, training and supervision of all Fast Food employees.
Responsible for cashiering, food preparation and stocking products for Concessions..
Responsible for daily accounting and cashiering duties.
Interacts with guests and ensures that proper sequence of service is followed for all Fast Food guests.
Ensures opening and closing responsibilities are proficiently completed including shoveling snow, cleaning, vacuuming, emptying trash, stocking shelves, counting cash, and completing other necessary tasks.
Responsible for opening the respective venue at the beginning of the season, maintaining the venues, and closing the venues down with proper notes from the season as well as leaving the location clean and maintenance free.
Ensures employees are trained on and follow Resort and Food & Beverage standards and procedures.
Knowledge and compliance of Utah liquor laws.
Responsible for maintaining a balance bank.
Assists in ordering, stocking, establishing pars and monthly inventories for Fast Food operations.
Responsible for delivering quality products in a clean and organized facility.
Works closely with guests and employees. Handles guest complaints, accepts and channels guest feed-back on food and operations to Deli Manager, gives constructive input to employees on operations.
Manages all aspects of Fast Food areas.
Responsible for ensuring that all Concessions staff have current Food Handlers Permit and any other applicable certifications/licenses required by law.
Knowledgeable about all aspects of the resort: lodging, dining, mountain recreation, activities, etc.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises eight full-time and part-time seasonal employees in the Concessions Department Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Complete all applicable paperwork for the above responsibilities and submit to HR in a timely manner.
ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT
Support and participate in environmental programs associated with position: minimizing waste, recycling, energy conservation, purchase and use of sustainable products, education on environmental ethic, support vendors with similar ethic, decrease pollution levels, minimize the use of toxic chemicals, restore wild life habitats.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Six to one year supervisory experience, previous food & beverage and customer service experience required.
TECHNICAL/COMPUTER SKILLS
Proficiency in basic computer functions and programs.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current Food Handlers Permit
Current alcohol certification
Must possess a valid U.S. Drivers’ License in good standing as determined by Sundance’s Insurance Company guidelines.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Employee will work with lighter fluid to light barbecue charcoal and propane heaters when applicable. Employee will also work the grill when needed and pull supplies out of the walk-in freezer.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 21 years of age (required by law to supervise beer sales).
Familiarity with cash handling and point of sales systems.
