Description: |
| Set up dish machine, wash dishes, pots and pans, keep kitchen, equipment and floors clean. Maintain a safe working environment moping and drying floors when needed empty trash and recycling. |
Duties: |
| Complete knowledge of kitchen policies and procedures. Know all safety and emergency procedures. To be familiar with all kitchen equipment, their functions and maintenance requirements. Report any needs to sous chef or executive chef such as broken equipment/ soap needs. Maintain a clean work space. Participate in recycling procedures of hotel and train staff to properly dispose of trash. Take recycling down stairs on pick up days and place back when empty. Place all dishes in proper storage space when clean and dry. Check with supervisor before end of shift. Mop all floors in kitchens and take out trash. |
