Duties: |
| • Cordially greet guests and park visitors, providing necessary information and services to promote greater guest satisfaction • Will be fully trained in operation of Property Management System •Take reservations, changes and cancellations for lodging. •Complete guest check-in and checkout procedures. •Complete shift report for hotel and restaurant and reconciliation of cash drawer. •Assist in updating room status, maintenance requests and lost-and-found log. •Take restaurant reservations, greet and seat restaurant guests as dining room host and assist wait staff when necessary. •Provide information on surrounding areas, history and National Park Service activities. •Performs such other related duties as directed or required. |
Qualifications: |
| Six months similar experience preferred. Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively. Must be able to write legibly as well as read and understand directions and instructions. Appearance must be in compliance with company guidelines. Must be able to stoop, bend, grasp, left 30 lbs periodically and perform repetitive motions. Exposure to wet floors. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be service and safety oriented. Must possess a sense of awareness, timelines, urgency, humor, and common sense. Must be able to adapt to the isolation of national park life. |
