Description:

POSITION SUMMARY: This is a seasonal position from May to Oct. 1st with full accountability for safe with operating funds. Operates small post office and performs administrative duties.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT: Calculator, computer, keyset telephone, copier, files, safe, cash registers, PMS, FAX and office supplies.

NATURE AND SOURCE OF SUPERVISION: Receives working direction from the Paradise Inn Rooms Division Manager.

Duties:

Maintains and is accountable for Paradise Inn safe and operating funds;  also audits safe twice daily and post office monthly • Assignment and supervision of safety deposit boxes. • Ordering and maintaining an adequate change supply. • Responsible for the daily operation and accountability of Paradise Inn post office. • Train cashiers in cash handling policy and procedure • Edits timecards as directed. • Assist in monthly inventories. • Orders and maintains an adequate quantity of supplies and forms. • Distribute incoming company mail. • Calculate wait staff tip reports in payroll system as directed • Cash paychecks. • Participates in front desk duties as directed • Performs such other related duties as directed or required

Qualifications:

•Related experience. Must be able to pass police background and credit check.Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively. Must be able to write legibly as well as read and understand directions and instructions. Appearance must be in compliance with company guidelines. Must be able to pass a credit check Must be able to stoop, bend, grasp, and perform repetitive motions. Exposure to wet floors. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be service and safety oriented. Must possess a sense of awareness, timelines, urgency, humor, and common sense. Must be able to adapt to the isolation of national park life.
