Description: |
| To produce baked products from recipe. Adjust to high altitude baking. Assist baker, know duties of lead baker and perform such duties in their absence. |
Duties: |
Assist Lead baker, Sous Chef and Kitchen manager. Be able to learn all menu baked items with no assistance other than getting more stock items for production. Produce daily dessert selection, do plate presentation, train staff in plating item, assist with Sunday Brunch production and set up. Understand the basic baking principles and be able to adjust recipe and preparation for high altitude baking. Help in any kitchen position that needs assistance. |
Qualifications: |
Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively. Must be able to write legibly as well as read and understand directions and instructions. Appearance must be in compliance with company guidelines. Must provide company approved slip resistant shoes; have current Washington State food handler's certification. Will be required to perform diverse physical tasks. Must be able to stoop, bend, grasp, and perform repetitive motions. Some walking and stair climbing. Good physical energy, stamina, and agility. Must withstand exposure to wet floors. Exposure to wet floors. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance occasionally. Must be service and safety oriented. Must possess a sense of awareness, timelines, urgency, humor, and common sense. Must be able to adapt to the isolation of national park life. |
