| Responsible for shipping, receiving and stock rotation in Paradise Inn kitchen. Will assist in setting par levels and ordering stock to adequately maintain Paradise Inn kitchen food and cleaning supplies. Under direction of the executive chef, posts weekly schedules and maintains payroll editing. |
Duties: |
Receiving, paperwork and stock rotation of goods from Ashford warehouse. *Assists in setting par levels and places kitchen food, paper and cleaning supplies orders as directed. *Keep freezer, walk-in and dry storage stocked and clean, maintaining proper product rotation. *Updates pricing information from invoices received. *Writes weekly kitchen schedule under the direction of Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef. *Tracks and edits kitchen payroll as required. *Assist with kitchen sanitation, including mopping floors, picking up trash outside kitchen entrances and assisting kitchen utility staff if needed. *Clean boiler room and employee bathrooms. *Carries product upstairs according to pull lists. *Ensures recylcing program is maintained as required. *Performs such other duties as directed or required. |
Qualifications: |
Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively. Must be able to write legibly as well as read and understand directions and instructions. Appearance must be in compliance with company guidelines; must provide company approved slip resistant shoes. Must have current Washington State food handler's or ServSafe certification. Will be required to perform diverse physical tasks. Must be able to stoop, bend, grasp, and perform repetitive motions. Some walking and stair climbing. Good physical energy, stamina, and agility. Must withstand exposure to wet floors. Exposure to wet floors. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance occasionally. Must be service and safety oriented. Must possess a sense of awareness, timelines, urgency, humor, and common sense. Must be able to adapt to the isolation of national park life. Similar experience in this position preferred. |
