| This is a seasonal position from May 1st to Oct 30.Performs routine daily duties in the cleaning of guest rooms, public restrooms and areas at National Park Inn. |
Duties: |
| KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES: • Promotes the spirit and intent of Guest Services Hospitality Standards. • Knowledge of room cleaning procedures. Vacuum, make beds, dust, clean bathrooms, stock rooms. • Responsible for washing hallway windows, dusting all projections from the wall and vacuuming.. • Clean public areas, restrooms and showers. • Take dirty linen from room attendant carts to dirty linen room as needed or assigned. • Assist as directed loading and unloading linen to and from daily transport. • Assist in loading recyclables onto daily transport. • Stock linen closets with clean linen throughout the day as assigned. • Take garbage to garbage area as assigned. • Maintain cleanliness of cot ramp, closets and utility rooms. Maintain preparedness for management inspections. • Turn in Lost and Found items to Head Housekeeper. • Report any repairs needed to Head or Lead Housekeeper. • At end of season completely clean out linen closets and store items as directed. • Performs such other related duties as directed or required. |

| PREREQUISITES: Education: High school graduate or equivalent. PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS: None. PERSONAL QUALITIES AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively. Must be able to write legibly as well as read and understand directions and instructions. Appearance must be in compliance with company guidelines. Will be required to perform diverse physical tasks. Must be able to stoop, bend, grasp, and perform repetitive motions. Some walking and stair climbing. Good physical energy, stamina, and agility. Must withstand exposure to wet floors. Must be able to tolerate and work in cold weather. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance occasionally. Must be service and safety oriented. Must possess a sense of awareness, timelines, urgency, humor, and common sense. Must be able to adapt to the isolation of winter park life. |
