Description: |
| Greet and seat guests in the dining room. Answer the telephone and take reservations in a professional and courteous manner. May occasionally back up Room Service by taking orders. |
Duties: |
Responsibilities include:
-Arrival at scheduled start time in appropriate uniform and ready for work.
-Uniform must be neat and pressed.
-Collect and set up any necessary equipment to perform job.
-Make floor plans.
-Collect keys and complete all opening and closing side work duties.
-Seat guests in the dining room.
-Make reservations for guests in proficient and professional manner.
-Some basic knowledge of all menus and wine lists.
-Keep work station clean at all times.
-Read all memos.
-Answer telephones properly.
-Must be able to operate POS in proficient manner.
-Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards guests and co-workers.
-Report to Food & Beverage Manager before ending work shift.
-Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: |
| High school diploma or equivalent. Must work well with or without direct supervision. Must be neat and well groomed at all times. Needs to be flexible, self motivated, positive and have a professional attitude towards guests, co-worker and management. Prior host/ess experience desired. English skills necessary to communicate with guests. Computer skills helpful. |
